Masterclasses

The masterclasses are scheduled to run from August 1 through August 5, August 7 and August 8.  The application fee is 50€, regardless of which masterclass(es) you choose.

You can apply to a masterclass with a professor of your choice for a 6-day period (full time) or a 3-day period (half time), which cost 600€ and 300€ respectively.

It is possible to subscribe to two masterclasses (two different professors).  In this case, you can only take the half time option with each masterclass, so the cost price is 300€ for each.  The application fee needs to be paid only once.

Click here to find further subscription details.

International Young Talent Music Competition

Subscribers of a fulltime masterclass may also subscribe to the International Young Talent Music Competition, which will take place on August 6.  The application fee for the competition is 100€.  Please note that subscription to the competition alone is not possible; it is to be combined with a masterclass of your choice.

The candidates are rated individually, not by instrument.  The following prizes will be awarded:
Category A:
Young Talent prize: 100€
Category B:
Special prize "Dimitri Musafia" for the best violinist: violin case
1st prize: 500€
2nd prize: 300€
3rd prize: 200€

The jury is composed of the masterclass professors, Dirk Verelst (chairman) and Seungyun Jin (secretary).  Click here for further subscription details.
