Anastasia Kozhushko

Anastasia Kozhushko was born in 1988 in Kharkiv (Ukraine), where she started her musical education. In 2005, she moved to Belgium to study at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent where she graduated with highest distinction. In 2008, she continued her studies at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Waterloo (Belgium) and between 2010 and 2015 at the International Piano Academy in Imola (Italy). She also studied at the LUCA School of Arts (Lemmensinstituut) in Louvain (Belgium) where she obtained her Master Diploma with highest distinction.

Anastasia is the first prize winner of the 24th Smetana International Piano Competition in the Czech Republic (2001) and obtained the Special Prize for the best performance of Bedrich Smetana. She also won the first prize in the Alter Musica International Music Competition in Cartagena (Spain, 2000).
