Korean stamp & knotting workshops & exhibition
Workshops and exhibition by Kyunghwa Cho and Jaesoon Jun on June 20, 21 and 22, 2025. Opening reception on June 20 at 6pm.
Stamp making workshop
In Korea, people don't usually sign their names, they use a personal seal instead. Everyone has their own unique stamp, much like a signature, which carries their identity. Traditionally carved into wood, these name seals are a part of everyday life in Korea. In this workshop, you'll have the unique opportunity to carve your very own Korean-style seal into stone, a beautiful blend of art, culture, and personal expression.
Knotting workshop
Traditional Korean knots are made using colorful embroidery threads, each tied with purpose and care. These knots symbolize harmony, peace, unity and even good fortune. This workshop offers a chance to create a unique gift for yourself or for someone you care about.
