Summer Festival Antwerp 2025 — General information
We are pleased to announce the 34th installment of our yearly Summer Festival, running from July 30 through August 8. The festival consists of:
- masterclasses for violin, cello, piano and harp
- workshop electro-acoustic music composition
- concerts by masterclass students and professors
- International Young Talent Music Competition

Masterclasses and workshops
The masterclasses are scheduled to run from July 30 through August 8. Students are advised to check out this page for a general schedule.
At the last minute, professor Laurentiu Sbarcea (cello) fell ill. Professor Aleksey Shadrin is replacing him.

International Young Talent Music Competition
The International Young Talent Music Competition takes place on August 2, 2025 at 3:30pm. The jury is composed of the masterclass professors, Dirk Verelst (chairman) and Seungyun Jin (secretary).

Applicants in category A choose their own program (maximum duration 10 minutes).
