Introduction

The 2024 edition of our Summer Festival runs from August 1 through August 9 at the MA'GO Music Academy, at the Love²Arts Gallery and at St. Paul's Church in Antwerp.

This year, we are also participating in the 18th edition of "Museum Night", which is an initiative of the city of Antwerp aiming to promote art, heritage and culture.  Our involvement comprises of three consecutive performances at St. Paul's Church on August 3 by some of our masterclass students and professors.

The masterclasses are scheduled to run from August 1 through August 8.

International Young Talent Music Competition

The International Young Talent Music Competition will take place on August 6 at 3pm.  The candidates are rated individually, not by instrument.  The jury is composed of the masterclass professors, Dirk Verelst (chairman) and Seungyun Jin (secretary).

The following prizes will be awarded:
Category A:
Young Talent prize: 100€
Category B:
Special prize "Dimitri Musafia" for the best violinist: violin case
1st prize: 500€
2nd prize: 300€
3rd prize: 200€

Applicants under the age of 12 at the time of subscription choose their own program (maximum duration 10 minutes).
