About the artists
Alexandra Cooreman won first prizes in many competitions. She also played solo with various orchestras and followed masterclasses with world-famous musicians.
Alexandra was admitted to the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Waterloo at the age of 10, where she studied with Augustin Dumay and Tatiana Samouil. She continued her education in
Madrid with Anna Chumachenco and in Cologne with Michaela Martin. She is currently studying in Philadelphia with Professor Ida Kavafian.
Daniel Blumenthal is an international soloist, concert musician and chamber musician. He is professor at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels, and at the Thy Masterclass Chamber
Music Festival in Denmark. He is a laureate of the Sydney, Leeds, Geneva, Busoni, and the Queen Elisabeth competitions. His discography includes over eighty recordings.
Daniel received his Bachelor of Music from the University of Michigan and his Master of Music degree and Doctor of Musical Arts from the Juilliard School in New York.
