Program

The Swiss-Belgian guitar duo will give a purely acoustic concert of predominantly South-American composers such as Radamés Gnatalli (Brazil) and Astor Piazzolla (Argentina), but also composers ranging from Maurice Ravel to Serge Gainsbourg.

About the artists

Patrizio was a finalist and laureate in various international competitions. He was an assistant of Raphaella Smits and performed as a soloist with the Royal Chamber Orchestra of Wallonia. His love for contemporary music has led to multiple collaborations with Geert Callaert, in duo as well as with his ensemble "Nieuwe Muziek". In 2018, he recorded his solo album "Momento" containing 20th-century pieces which received rave reviews.

Robert studied classical guitar and jazz. He also followed flamenco lessons, after which he collaborated intensively with guitarists such as José Toral, Antonio Segura and Patricio Grande. Robert has always combined his passion for classical guitar with the creativity he obtained from his jazz studies and his love for Latin-American music, which led to numerous collaborations with guitarists playing different music styles.
